Abstract
We have studied the magnetic phase diagrams of the dense Kondo compounds CeB 6 and Ce 0.5La 0.5B 6 by the use of low temperature ultrasonic measurements. In CeB 6 long-range ordered states were observed. On the contrary, a crossover from the ordinary Γ 8 ground state to the Kondo singlet state has been found in Ce 0.5La 0.5B 6.
