The use of ultrasonic energy for applying sealer tothe root canal system was investigated. A method of ultrasonic sealer placement was described. This in vitro study using human mandibular molars compared hand instruments with ultrasonics for sealer application. The ultrasonic method of root canal sealer placement covered the canal walls more thoroughly.
