Abstract
In this paper, we have provided two formulas to reduce the reliability evaluation problems of three-state devices networks to two-state network reliability computation problems. The method effectively simplifies the solving process although profit is still calculated by the technique of L. B. Page and J. E. Perry [L. B. Page and J. E. Perry, Microeleciron. Reliab., 27, 175–178 (1987)].
