Abstract

The research paper presents a detailed study based on comprehensive assessment of the morphological and taxonomical description of two polychaete (Eunice petersi Fauchald, 1992 and Hesione intertexta Grube, 1878) species. The newly recorded polychaete species for the coast of Pakistan belong to the Eunicidae and Hesionidae families and were identified in benthic samples collected from the intertidal zone on the Makran coast of the North Arabian Sea. Photographs and drawings of the species are provided.
