Abstract
Erdoganism became a political narrative in Turkish academic circles over the last decade. It has gradually tried to become a dominant narrative in Turkish society and eventually transformed into a ruling regime. Scholars described its main characteristics, such as authoritarianism, populism, Islamism, and conservatism. However, it becomes clear that exported militarism is the new, rapidly developing vector of Erdoganism. Through the analysis of Erdoganism, this article tries to answer the question: Does Turkey have the initiative to organize a military cooperation block in the post-Soviet region? This research argues that Turkey aims to create regional military unity with Turkic states.
