Abstract
The linear and thermo-optical properties of two dyes-Basic Fuchsin and Neutral Red were tailored using plasmonic silver nanoparticles. The silver nanosol was synthesized using a mode-locked femtosecond laser ablation of a silver target. The synthesized nanoparticles were having an average size of 7 nm. The results were interpreted in terms of dye-nanoparticle interaction and the formation of dye-nanoparticle resonance hybrids.
