Abstract

A simplified radiofrequency ablation (RFA) protocol which eliminates the cleaning step between applications has been reported to be non-inferior and more efficient compared to the standard protocol in a small randomized trial in short BE segments. Data on long term outcomes in a larger cohort with longer BE segments are lacking. We aimed to compare the efficacy and safety of the simplified RFA protocol to the standard RFA protocol.
