Abstract

The article presents a comprehensive approach to the treatment of stuttering in children and adolescents in a day hospital with the direct participation of nursing staff in this process. Aim. Providing information on the organization of the process of providing assistance to children and adolescents with stut tering in the SBHI Samara Regional Clinical Psychiatric Hospital. Results. Applying this comprehensive approach, in the vast majority of cases, it is possible to achieve high results in relieving patients of stut tering at the end of treatment. Conclusion. Treatment of stuttering is one of the important areas of work of the psychiatric service, aimed at social, mental, and physical prevention in the child and adolescent population.
