Abstract

A study was conducted based on the DSM5-DSM4 diagnostic criteria of trauma and generalized anxiety disorder. It is the emergence of generalized anxiety disorder of past trauma in future life events due to the occurrence of a traumatic event due to the occurrence of an abusive and unexpected sudden shocking situation. It is a case report of a traumatic event in the past life experience of the client, which is effective in preventing daily life functions such as anxiety, overwhelm, stress, worry, difficulty in focusing, irritability and restlessness that occur in the future life of the client. The client voluntarily applied to a psychologist. Considering the symptoms experienced by the client, the effect of cognitive behavioral therapy was revealed with the emergence of negative automatic thoughts by taking into account the stress, anxiety-reducing technique of the client's cognitive behavioral therapy school.
