Abstract
Se presenta el caso de una mujer adulta joven hospitalizada con neumonía grave por SARS-CoV-2, durante su hospitalización desarrolla psicosis caracterizada por un inicio súbito, ideas delirantes de daño y alucinaciones fluctuantes; paciente conservó la orientación en tiempo, espacio y persona. Los factores predisponentes que se encontraron para este cuadro fueron el aislamiento y la afectación somática secundaria a la enfermedad por SARS-CoV-2. El cuadro remitió al mes de terapia farmacológica. Se realizó una revisión bibliográfica de la fisiopatología, presentación clínica, diagnóstico, factores de riesgo, evolución y tratamiento de los trastornos neuropsiquiátricos en pacientes con COVID-19.
