Abstract

Translation quality assessment, an indispensable part of translation teaching, has drawn much attention in translationstudies. To get an overview of the topic, this study systematically reviews previous research on translation qualityassessment to summarize achievements and point out avenues for future research. Bibliometric analysis was used toanalyze relevant journal articles from the Web of Science, a publisher-independent global citation database. The resultsdemonstrated that existing studies mainly discussed translation quality assessment procedures, assessment methods, andassessment tools. The study can provide a reference for quality assessment in translation teaching and research.
