Abstract
We are using 6.6Kv continuous disc type transformer winding for examination of the faults occurred in the winding using Frequency Response Analysis. Electric circuits are designed according to the lumped constraint model which includes series capacitance, ground capacitance and inductance. For computation purpose, 6.6kV transformer design requirement data sheet had been used. We had created a model of simulink which has a incessant disc type of 6.6kV transformer for evaluating and analyzing the frequency response of SFRA. The replica was supported on lump constraints via series capacitance, inductance and ground capacitance. Faults were set up by modifying the significance of series capacitance, inductance and ground capacitance. We have formed a fault by raising the value of inductance by 20%, which result in the distortion of the disc and confined breakdown faults etc. which will change the FRA waveform greater than the complete frequency range varying from 10 Hz to 2 MHz). On the other side, modifying the value of series capacitance and ground capacitance will be associated with the disc movement faults which will happen only at frequencies greater than 400 kHz.
