Abstract

Purpose. The aim of the article is the formation of theoretical and applied principles of agricultural entities interaction in accordance with global challenges. Methodology of research. The following methods were used during the research: induction and deduction, analysis and synthesis (when determining the prerequisites and consequences of climate change and its impact on the agriculture development), observation, comparison (during the analysis of natural and climatic conditions in different regions of the world); methods of factor analysis; correlational analysis (when determining interconnections between financial and economic indicators of agriculture and climate change trends), system analysis (when analysing options for agricultural enterprises cooperation and analysis of measures to increase the effectiveness of the cooperation of subjects to counteract the negative consequences of global challenges), etc. Findings. Guidelines for building a financial mechanism for the business entities interaction in accordance with global challenges were determined. The dynamic-spatial analysis of the statistical basis of the transformation of cooperation mechanisms between various subjects during global challenges was carried out. The impact of global climate change on the financial and economic indicators of agricultural enterprises was determined. Possible options for interaction between state bodies, banking institutions, insurance companies, agricultural enterprises, and the publicity to combat global climate change were analysed. The measures to increase the efficiency of subjects’ interaction of different hierarchical levels to counteract the negative consequences of global challenges were proposed. Originality. The scientific novelty consists in determining the interaction between natural and climatic conditions (temperature, precipitation) and indicators of agricultural enterprises financial and economic activity, which made possible to determine a greater dependence of agricultural production on temperature than on precipitation. The greatest dependence is observed between the amount of precipitation and the volume of potato production, and such dependence is direct, which indicates that with an increase in the amount of precipitation, the volume of potato production will also increase. The obtained results will make it possible to develop and timely adjust measures for climate change adaptation of subjects at all levels of the hierarchy. Practical value. The practical significance of the obtained results is that the main provisions and conclusions made in the research have an applied nature and can be useful both for international organizations, authorities, and for individual enterprises for timely counteraction to global challenges and timely prevention of catastrophic consequences.
