Abstract
As a new low-carbon green industry, health tourism is a model of tourism industry innovation. The development of the health tourism industry has an important empowering significance for promoting the transformation and upgrading of tourism and related industries. With the continuous expansion of the health tourism market and the deepening of its integration with other industries, how to give full play to the low-carbon leading role of the health tourism industry is particularly important under the goal of carbon neutrality. This paper expounds on the inner logic of health tourism low-carbon empowerment from two aspects: direction empowerment and concept empowerment. This paper also explored the problems that exist in the low-carbon development of the health tourism industry. It is proposed to strengthen top-level design, reinforce the support of scientific and technological innovation, improve the layout of new tourism infrastructure, and establish a professional personnel training system, so as to promote industrial transformation and upgrading.
