Abstract

State Polytechnic of Jember as one of the vocational universities in Indonesia has echoed its goal of creating graduates who are ready to work. However, the previous goal is challenging to be achieved. The limited number of job vacancies is not in line with the huge number of graduates from the universities. As consequence, the graduates should compete to get the job. Many of them are unsuccessfully in the first stage of applying for a job, administrative selection. It happens because they are not able to profile themselves properly. To overcome this problem, not only attending classroom lecturing and practice, the graduates must be equipped with qualified skills to profile themselves through writing curriculum vitae. Therefore, an online training program for content creation and design of English curriculum vitae with the Canva Application was conducted. The use of English was selected so that the curriculum vitae can be utilized for job applications to national and international companies. Meanwhile, the application of Canva was chosen to make the curriculum vitae design look professional. This training involved 40 students of the Tourism Destination Study Program through an online platform. It was carried out using the scientific approach method by applying five stages, namely observing, questioning, experimenting, associating, and communicating within a period of six months. The result of this online training proves that the participants’ skills in creating and designing curriculum vitae are increased. This fact can be identified through the products presented by the participants.
