Abstract
The article examines the traditional folklore as an area of intangible cultural heritage. The characteristic of traditional folklore as the core of traditional culture is given, its signs and functions are revealed. The main spheres are highlighted – cultural and leisure and educational, within which the representation of traditional folklore is carried out. The importance of using virtual communication as one of the forms of representation of cultural heritage, in particular traditional folklore, under modern conditions is emphasized.
