Medicinal Research ReviewsVolume 1, Issue 4 p. 337-372 Article Toxicological considerations for the medicinal chemist Neville Finch, Neville Finch Pharmaceuticals Division, CIBA-GEIGY Corporation, Summit, New Jersey 07901 Neville Finch was born in Greenock, Scotland in 1934. He was educated at manchester Grammar School and the University of Bristol where he obtained B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in 1955 and 1958. Following two year s of postdoctoral work with Professor Carl Djerassi at Wayne State and Stanford Universities, he joined CIBA in Summit, J.J. in 1960. He was promoted to manager in 1968 and Director in 1969 of Chemical Research at CIBA. Following the merger in 1971 he was appointed Executive Director of Chemical Research for the Pharmaceuticals Division of CIBA - GEIGY Corp. In 1975 he was awarded the D. Sc. degree by the University of Bristol. In 1981 he left CIBA - GEIGY. As Neville F.
