Abstract
Photoaging and photodamage (dermatoheliosis) are chronic changes in the appearance and function of the skin caused by repeated sun exposure. Manifestations of photodamage are multi-dimensional. These undesirable skin changes consist of fine and coarse wrinkles, skin roughness, laxity, mottled pigmentation, actinic lentigines, actinic keratoses, rough texture/coarseness, scaling/xerosis, sallowness, and telangiectasia.
