Abstract
Calcium channel blockers are widely used by doctors in everyday clinical practice. The article provides an overview of studies on the use of antihypertensive treatment and, based on their analysis, provides recommendations for the appointment of such therapy, with specific instructions on which drugs and in which pathology should be preferred. Special attention is paid to lercanidipine as a modern promising and affordable drug.
