Abstract

The time-dependent equation of radiative transfer for isotropic scattering has been solved by integral equation technique in terms ofX- andY-functions appropriate for the problem. It is seen thatX- andY-functions are reducible to the corresponding function for steady-state problems by simply changing the Laplace transform parameters-i.e., byS→0.
