Abstract

Pelargonium auriculipetalum, P. leucopetalum, and P. tortandrum are described as new species. All three species are deciduous geophytes with turnip-shaped tubers belonging to section Hoarea. They differ with regard to flower colour, flower and leaf structure, and all of them occur in the winter rainfall area along the west coast of southern Africa. All three species are illustrated and distribution maps are provided for the species.
