Abstract

AbstractAn impulse radiating GPR system is designed with resistively loaded antennas, which are placed in an array configuration to cancel ground bounce and antenna coupling effects. The target response is isolated through deconvolution by the conjugate gradient method. By applying the matrix pencil method to the late time response the natural resonant frequencies of the target are extracted for identification. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
