Abstract

In this paper we discuss the possibility of an extended electroweak gauge groupSUL(2)⊗UY(1)⊗SU*L(2). This group could be originated from superstring-inspired models and effective composite models. The model has a natural low-energy limit (Q2≪M Z 2 ). New gauge vector bosons W* and Z* can be present in the 1 TeV region. The new neutral current couplings are determined from the general properties of the model. A detailed comparison with the standard-model predictions is done for √s=MZ and √s=190 GeV. The model implies an increase in Higgs’ production cross-section for electron-positron colliders.
