Abstract
Some of the methods used in measuring the temperatures of the transitions in 3He are reviewed. Although noise thermometers, γ-ray anisotropy thermometers and even Pt NMR thermometers are satisfactory for furnishing temperature standards, they are not satisfactory secondary thermometers. The susceptibility of CMN and various 3He properties make more precise and quicker thermometric indications.
