Abstract
Calorimetric, potentiometric and spectrophotometric studies on the heteroligand complexes of copper(II) and nickel(II) iminodiacetates (Ida) or nitrilotriacetates (Nta) with 2,2′-dipyridyl (Dipy) and 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen) have been carried out in aqueous solution at 298.15 K and the ionic strength of I = 0.5 (KNO3). The thermodynamic parameters of formation of various mixed ligand complexes have been determined. The probable coordination modes of the complexone and diamine in the mixed complexes were discussed.
