Abstract

The applicability of the Lielmezs—Merriman (LM) modification of the Peng—Robinson equation of state has been tested for supercritical and compressed liquid regions. The predicted thermodynamic properties (pressure, volume, temperature, departure functions: Δ H, Δ A, Δ S, Δ G, Δ U) and fugacity of the pure compounds have been compared with experimental data and with results calculated by the Soave—Redlich—Kwong (SRK) and Peng—Robinson (PR) equations of state.
