Abstract

The e.m.f.'s of galvanic cells with solid-oxide electrolyte have been used to obtain the standard Gibbs energies of formation of Fe 2W, Fe 3W 2, and FeWO 4 over the temperature range 1200 to 1300 K, and of Fe 0.96W 0.04 over the range 1325 to 1400 K. The results have been used to derive standard enthalpies and entropies of formation of Fe 2W, Fe 3W 2, and FeWO 4.
