Abstract

Within the finite-temperature Bardeen–Cooper–Schrieffer model, the level density and specific heat are calculated for 93−98Mo isotopes in the grand partition ensemble. We found finite discontinuities in heat capacity as a function of temperature corresponding to the experimental S-shaped heat capacity. The values of the critical temperature of the superfluid to normal transition follow approximately the empirical rule Tc≃0.57Δ for all of the93−98Mo nuclei.
