Abstract

This paper extends the work contained in Part I [1] to include the extra complicating effect of temperature dependent Young's moduli upon the transverse vibration of polar orthotropic circular plates. Two aspects are considered, namely the effect upon the flexural aspect of the plate and the effect upon the geometric stiffness resulting from the more complicated form of the radial stress distribution.
