Abstract

The paper deals with the chain model, in which electrical current lines go from one electrical contact spot domain to an opposite one mainly along graphite layers, and across layers. The shape of flake graphite crystals and its electric connection peculiarities is used for the numerical calculation of the electrical resistance of a graphite polycrystal sample. To obtain the temperature dependence of the specific electrical resistance (SER) of polycrystal, we process measurements of the resistivity of a quasi-mono-crystal in the direction along and between the layers of graphite layers. We evaluate how temperature cracking reduces the cross-section of contact spots.
