Abstract

The article is devoted to one of the least studied issues of pedagogical science theory and practice of moral self-development of young learners. To disclose the concept of moral self-development of primary school children the author used the works of classics of Russian psychology and pedagogy: B. Ananyev, A. A. Bodalev, L. S. Vygotsky, A. N. Leontyev, B. I. Likhachev, V. N. Myasishchev as well as modern scientists: F. I. Cewla, S. C. Kulevich, C. A. Petrovsky, M. I. Rozhkov, A. Serikov and others. The article describes the phenomenon of moral self-development of junior schoolchildren in the context of synergic, social-cultural, personal-active, systemic approaches. The article highlights the sensitivity of primary school children to moral self-development and the necessity of pedagogical support to moral selfdevelopment of young learners.
