Abstract

A number of structures use elements of steel 08Х14Н5М2ДЛ (VNL-3), on the work surface of which is layered anti-frictional layer made of alloy X25Н10B8. In the process of argon-arc surfacing there is a formation of defects in the form of cracks in the weld deposited layer. Applying a wear-resistant layer by fussion coating reduces the durability of the main material VNL-3 by more than an order of magnitude. The crack in the surfacing does not penetrate the main material the start of cyclic loading, but remains within the thickness of the deposited layer. It is shown that in tribological tests, especially at high temperatures (700...900 °C), the presence of cracks in the weld deposited layer leads to an increase in mass wear by about 3,1—3,3 times.
