Abstract

AbstractThe volatile constituents of Calamintha sylvatica Bromf. subs. sylvatica in the different development stages (pre‐blossom, full blossom and post‐blossom) have been analysed using GC and GC–MS. Thirty‐three constituents were identified. The most representative compound in all stages was cis‐piperitone oxide (66.6–74.6%). Copyright © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
