The lymphangiograms were positive in 25% of the Stage IIB, in 48% of the Stage IIIA, and in 75% of the Stage IIIB cases. In Stage III disease the incidence of common iliac node metastasis was 44% and of para-aortic node metastasis 17%. Lymphangiography in cervical carcinoma may be useful in diagnosing metastatic nodes, in designing optimum irradiation portals, and in discovering recurrence.Article HistoryAccepted: Oct 1971Published in print: Apr 1972 FiguresReferencesRelatedDetailsCited ByHow iliopelvic lymphoscintigraphy can affect the definition of planning target volume in radiation therapy of pelvic and testicular tumorsInternational Journal of Radiation Oncology*Biology*Physics, Vol. 53, No. 5Definition and validation of a reference target volume in early stage node-positive cervical carcinoma, based on lymphangiograms and CT-scansRadiotherapy and Oncology, Vol. 54, No. 2International Journal of Radiation Oncology*Biology*Physics, Vol. 34, No. 1International Journal of Radiation Oncology*Biology*Physics, Vol. 27, No. 4Computed tomography and lymphography in the presurgical staging of early carcinoma of the uterine cervixCancer, Vol. 60, No. 8American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Vol. 148, No. 5Gynecologic Oncology, Vol. 11, No. 3American Journal of Roentgenology, Vol. 136, No. 6International Journal of Radiation Oncology*Biology*Physics, Vol. 5, No. 3Tumori Journal, Vol. 64, No. 3Tumori Journal, Vol. 64, No. 4Cancer, Vol. 39, No. S2Gynecologic Oncology, Vol. 5, No. 1Cancer, Vol. 35, No. 6Gynecologic Oncology, Vol. 3, No. 4New England Journal of Medicine, Vol. 292, No. 7Lymphography In Cancer Of The UterusAustralasian Radiology, Vol. 18, No. 3Cancer, Vol. 31, No. 6Recommended Articles RSNA Education Exhibits RSNA Case Collection Vol. 103, No. 1 Metrics Altmetric Score PDF download
