Abstract
We present results obtained during studies on oxidation of reduced sulfur compounds by Thiobacillus neapolitanus and bioleaching of copper from limestone and sandstone ore. We have used simple and cheap methods for visualisation of chemical and biological phenomena in microscale involving examination with scanning electron microscope and electron microprobe.
