Abstract

This paper describes a test programme which was carried out on artificially irradiated fragments of porcelain. The purpose was to see how accurately the dose could be estimated using the pre-dose technique. Both the multiple activation and additive dose methods of evaluation were used and the results compared with the known doses. Particularly good agreement was obtained using multiple activation.
