Abstract
AbstractThe development of numerical models to describe physical problems with irregular boundaries frequently involves the use of very fine or variable Cartesian meshes when a more descriptive mesh might be appropriate. This paper describes the application of the transmission line matrix (TLM) technique to the analysis of orthogonal curvilinear mesh problems. Although very high levels of accuracy are possible, the computational efficiency may be reduced owing to the stub admittance factor, S, and the need for an accurate evaluation of the transmission line parameters.
