In the study, pre test-post test controlled group model was used. The sample of the study were 80 7 th grade students who were attending a secondary school in Bursa during the education years of 2012-2013. The students were seperated into two groups, each group consisting of 40 students. After having been taught the subject the students were taken to post-test to measure their success. With the experimental group the verbs were taught through caricatures but with the control group the same topic was processed with the classical and traditional teaching methods. At the end of the study the outcomes were compared by considering the sex of the samples towards the Turkish lesson.
