Abstract
Summary The use of adhesive sterile wound closure strips (Steri-strips) in relation to plastic surgery is outlined briefly. The strips appear to be of more universal use in conjunction with conventional suture materials than by their use alone. It is suggested that their use represents an important step forward in the search for the technique that will produce the invisible scar.
