Abstract
The ultrastructure of the liver parenchymal cell from immature pullets and from immature and young mature cockerels has been studied. The results demonstrated that the fowl's hepatocyte is structurally very similar to that of other birds and, in spite of certain morphological differences between the livers of birds and mammals, is also very similar in structure to the liver cell of mammals.
