The Tradition of Seeing Hari Bulan in Starting A Life Cycle Ritual in The North Kluet Community, South Aceh, Indonesia

The events leading to the 1994 general elections marked a major turning point in the history of South Africa. The new dispensation saw the introduction of new legislation that would see traditional leaders ‘losing’ their powers to the newly established local government structures. The government’s White Paper on Local Government 1998 offered a new vision of a post-apartheid society, embodied in the concept of developmental local government. As a result, territories previously controlled by the traditional leaders would be divided into municipalities, each governed by an elected municipal council. This paper uses a combination of archival sources such as newspapers, minutes of the committee meetings and other written documentary and oral sources drawn from in-depth interviews with local leaders, traditional leaders, and local people from the area. It argues that the incorporation of remote traditional areas under the jurisdiction of traditional leaders in the newly formed municipalities threatened the powers of traditional leaders and complicated the jobs of newly elected councillors, as they were expected to go through izinduna for any project to be successfully launched. This was the case mainly in instances where a local traditional leader and a councillor belong to different political parties.

Assertive behavior is very important in fostering interpersonal relationships and is a behavior that focuses on win-win solution. The results of interviews conducted by South Aceh Regional Public Hospital occasionally occur internal conflicts among nurses in the team due to ineffective communication, showing passive attitude in building relationships, time discipline, division of labor, contract nurses who feel discouraged and underestimated by colleagues until the perceived unjust treatment. The purpose of research to determine the factors associated with assertive behavior of nurses at South Aceh General Hospital in 2024. The design of this study using descriptive correlative with cross sectional study approach. Sampling was done by using total population technique amounted to 73 respondents. This research has been conducted at South Aceh General Hospital by distributing questionnaires from 02-04 August 2024. Data analysis using chi-square test. The result of the research showed that high knowledge was 40 respondents (54,8%), positive attitude 41 respondents (56,2%), positive self concept 37 respondents (50,7%), positive social support 45 respondents (61, 6%), assertive behavior of nurses at South Aceh General Hospital was mostly positive as many as 39 respondents (53.4%). The result of statistical test shows that there is correlation of knowledge (p = 0,016), attitude (p = 0,002), self concept (p = 0,026) and social support (p = 0,008) with assertive behavior of nurse at South Aceh Public Hospital 2024. Expected to the South Aceh Regional Public Hospital in order to conduct conflict management training to improve the performance of health personnel so that they can carry out their responsibilities properly and to prevent negative assertion.

<em>This research used qualitative research approach with psychology literature review. The data of this research came from the text in the novel Laut Bercerita while the data source came from the results of interviews with teachers, students, counseling and guidance’s teachers, and the authors. The data collection techniques using document analysis and interviews. The technique of taking research subjects with purposive sampling. Data validity using theory triangulation and data triangulation. Data analysis techniques using interactive analysis models which include data collection, data reduction activities, display data, and drawing conclusion. The research procedure consists of the preparation stage, the data collection stage, the data selection stage, the stage of conducting data analysis (interactive models), the stage of preparing the research report. The results of this research are 1) the novel Laut Bercerita has the completeness of intrinsic elements consisting of 7 elements, 2) the inner conflict in the main character can be understood through Sigmund Freud's theory (Id, Ego, Superego) that is able to be influenced by factors within the character itself or external factors of the people around him, 3) there are 12 values of character education contained in the novel Laut Bercerita, and 4) the novel Laut Bercerita is relevant when used as a teaching material for literary appreciation in SMA Negeri 5 Surakarta and SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Surakarta because it contains a lot of positive values that can be realized for students in real life.</em>

Humans and the environment are two things that are interconnected and cannot be separated from each other. Educating people who are aware of the importance of the environment certainly requires effort. One of them is through educational institutions. This study uses a qualitative approach by presenting data from research results. Processed and presented qualitatively. This study used observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the research data used interactive model analysis techniques (interactive model of analysis) from Miles and Huberman. In this interactive analysis model, the researcher moves on three components, namely data reduction, data display and verification. The results of this research found that the Adiwiyata Middle School curriculum always prioritizes the active involvement of all school members in environmental conservation. The organization at the Adiwiyata school in Banjarmasin City has one of its missions, namely environmental preservation. The existence of an environmentally based curriculum will create a new culture, namely an environmental culture where school residents will be more aware of the importance of protecting the environment.

This study aims to reconstruct the historical and theological process of Gospel dissemination and the interaction between Christianity and local culture in Tanah Kisar. The research uses a historical method combined with social and theological approaches. Data were collected through literature review, archival research, and in-depth interviews with local traditional leaders, religious figures, and youth. The analysis involved source criticism and data interpretation, which were then compiled into a descriptive-analytical historiography. The findings reveal that the spread of the Gospel in Kisar occurred through five main historical periods, beginning with the Portuguese Catholic mission and evolving into the growth of the Protestant Church of Maluku under local leadership. The spread of Christianity was deeply influenced by colonial socio-political dynamics, often resulting in nominal Christian communities with limited spiritual transformation. The study also highlights that local culture, particularly the indigenous language, plays a vital role in evangelism. The church’s tendency to detach from local culture has hindered the process of inculturation. Therefore, revitalizing local culture through contextual approaches is seen as essential to strengthen the presence of an authentic Christian faith within the Kisar community.

This research examines the settlement of child custody after divorce outside the court with a focus on child custody disputes in Gampong Dayah Mon Ara, Kembang Tanjong District, Pidie Regency, the purpose of the research is to find out how the practice of resolving custody rights is carried out and how it is in accordance with Islamic law and laws and regulations. This research uses field research methods and empirical normative approaches, observation and interviews become primary data sources while articles, theses, theses and dissertations that have been researched by previous authors become secondary data sources. The results of this study indicate that the local community prefers to resolve disputes through deliberation with local traditional leaders, without going through the court process because the community believes that customary institutions are able to resolve their cases rather than having to go to court at a relatively more expensive and long time, in the case studied by the author the custody of minors falls to the father because it is considered more feasible in terms of emotional, economic, and social support, this customary settlement reflects the synergy between customary norms, Islamic law and the principle of the best interests of the child.

This study aims to explain the composition of the advertisements presented in the promotion of skin care advertisements on TikTok. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data source from videos on TikTok that contain advertisements for skin care products. The data studied are in the form of words, phrases, and sentences in the data source. Data sources are video advertisements for skin care products from the Skintific, Bioaqua, Npure, and Hada Labo brands on TikTok in the issues from June to July 2022. Data collection techniques are carried out in three ways, namely documentation techniques, observation techniques, and note-taking techniques. Search techniques by downloading advertisements for skin care products from TikTok and taking screenshots of the display on the screen. Then, the next technique is the observing and note-taking technique, which is listening to the results of all video recordings and recording the information contained in the research results. Data analysis was performed using an interactive analysis model, in three steps: 1) data reduction; 2) present (display) data; 3) draw conclusions. Analysis of the composition of the ad is carried out by looking at the parts of the ad composition which are divided into three parts, namely the main point, ad body and closing. The results showed that 90% of the total ads used the main item, 95% of the total ads used the ad body, and found 70% of the total ads used the closing section.

This study was conducted in Indonesia to achieve Zero Emissions and SDG'S by increasing public awareness as consumers of big data-based direct marketing campaign opportunities with a Green Marketing approach. Researchers used qualitative research methods with a descriptive design. The data collection technique was carried out in a triangulation (combined) manner, and the data analysis was inductive. The data source used in this research is secondary data with documentation from reputable scientific journals, official news, and reports. Data analysis in this study used Miles and Huberman's interactive data analysis model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The observations show that the trend of green marketing in Indonesia has been implemented, both from the production side (corporations) and the consumption side (consumers). However, the results are still far from the zero-emission target. Marketers' understanding and knowledge indicate that consumers' green consumption behavior should focus on increasing appropriate communication about the benefits of green consumption among consumers. It is characterized by the Achievement of Household Waste Management Performance which is the most significant contribution showing that green consumer behavior is still low. Through green communication and promotions, marketers and policymakers will be able to emphasize the benefits of practicing GCB among consumers. Normatively, the government can supervise products that claim to be environmentally friendly in the spirit of achieving sustainable production and consumption activities. In addition, the government can make Population Data linked to cellphone SIM card numbers and connected to other social media applications to become databases in implementing green marketing in the sense of building green consumer behavior through green campaigns.

Urbanization significantly affects the cultural values embedded in the life cycle rituals of ethnic communities. This paper explores the transformation of cultural values within the life cycle rituals of the K’Ho ethnic group in Lam Dong Province, Vietnam, focusing on weddings and funerals. Utilizing urbanization as a phenmenon, it examines how these rituals evolve in response to the pressures and opportunities of urban life, highlighting the dynamic interplay between tradition and modernity in a rapidly urbanizing context. The research employs a sociological framework, combining primary data collection through detailed surveys and in-depth interviews with 26 individuals, and secondary document analysis. The survey included 477 household questionnaires, focusing on K’Ho households in Ta Nung commune and Lac Duong town. Document analysis involved examining books, scientific reports, statistical data, and other relevant sources to provide comprehensive insights into the effects of urbanization on K’Ho life cycle rituals. The study concludes that urbanization significantly impacts the cultural values and practices of the K’Ho ethnic group, leading to the professionalization and simplification of traditional rituals. Traditional practices are increasingly infused with modern elements, reflecting broader socio-economic transformations and the integration of new cultural norms. These findings underscore the importance of detailed, context-specific analyses to understand the unique cultural heritage and socio-economic conditions of ethnic communities in the face of urbanization.

Abstract: The aims of this research are (1) Social, Cultural and Religious Aspects in the Folklore of Karomah KH. Lathifi Baidhowi (2) describes the socio-cultural aspects contained in folklore, (3) explains the functions and public responses to folklore, (4) describes the implementation of folklore as teaching material for Indonesian literature at IAI AL-Qolam. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, using a fixed case study design strategy. The data in this study are in the form of sentences and paragraphs. There are two sources of data in this study, namely primary data sources originating from informants or sources at the folklore place of Karomah KH. Lathifi Baidhowi is here. Sources of secondary data in the study came from stories in the Biography book and data from interviews with the Community/Santri. Data collection techniques in this study through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is a qualitative data analysis technique using an interactive analysis model. The results of this study are four (1) the origin and structural analysis of the folklore of Karomah KH. Lathifi Baidhowi the theme of folklore is about people's belief in stories. The plot used is a forward plot, the character in the story of Karomah KH Lathifi as Msrsyid Toriqoh who makes accusations to several areas around East Java. The setting of the story is divided into two,namely the setting of the place and the setting of time. (2) The social aspects of thisfolklore include social aspectsrelated to religiousissues, cultural aspects in this study include people's beliefs. (3) Community responses and the function of folklore, namely the benefits of several Karomah and ritual worship activities according to Islamic teachings. (4) Implementation of the folklore of Karamah KH. Lathifi Baidhowi as a literature teaching material at IAI Al-Qolam is appropriate and relevant and can be used as literature learning material.

This paper aims to determine the Analysis of Freshwater Fish Seed Business Development in Increasing Income (Study at UPTD Fish Seed Center in Rahandouna Village, Poasia District, Kendari City). The research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach and collects data through interviews, observation and document studies. Sources of data from research informants and secondary data that are relevant to research studies. Using interactive data analysis model data analysis techniques from Miles, Huberman & Saldaña (2014)The results of the study show that business development in freshwater fish hatcheries in Rahandouna Village, Poasia District, Kendari City can be said to experience development and increase in income where the business location has experienced additions from initially there were only 1-20 ponds to 30 ponds, and a workforce that was initially only 3 employees to 5 employees. In this case, business capital has increased from Rp. 35,000,000 to Rp. 50,000,000 initially

This research aims to analyze the role of school principals in managing human resources towards improving the quality of education at the Gugus 6 State Elementary School, Kota Bahagia District, South Aceh. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of research used in this research being a multisite study. In this research, three data collection techniques were used, namely observation, interviews, documentation. Qualitative data analysis techniques in this research were carried out interactively through the process of data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions/verification. The results of the analysis prove that the role of the principal in managing Human Resources at Gugus 6 State Elementary School, Kota Bahagia District, South Aceh is by carrying out good human resource planning, attracting human resources (recruitment) for applicants who pass the requirements, selection and placement. in accordance with their profession, holding training to improve the abilities of teachers and administrative staff, holding work performance assessments of teachers and employees every week, month or year to improve the performance of teachers and employees, and providing welfare to teachers and administrative staff in the form of monthly salaries and allowances.

Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) has many benefits for human and animal health and has been widely used as a probiotic. One of the LAB is the genus Lactobacillus which consists of many species used for fermentation and food preservation. This study was conducted to isolate and identify the LAB of the genus Lactobacillus from the faeces of wild Sumatran Orangutan (Pongo abelii) at the Suaq Belimbing Research Station in South Aceh. Bacterial isolation was carried out using Man Rogosa Sharpe Agar (MRSA). Colonies that grew on MRSA media were observed for morphology and were Gram stained. Biochemical tests were conducted using KIT API 50 CHL. Data analysis used the Apiweb computer program Version V-5.2. The results showed that the OUL isolate was a species of Lactobacillus delbrueckii ssp delbrueckii, with an identity of 93.8%. Based on this, it can be concluded that there is a Lactic Acid Bacteria of the Lactobacillus in the faeces of wild Sumatran Orangutan (Pongo abelii) at the Suaq Belimbing Research Station in South Aceh.

Developing moral values ??is a process where a child is trained to be sensitive to stimuli, especially regarding the demands of moral values, and learns to get along by behaving politely towards other people in his environment. Developing moral values ??at Dharma Wanita West Labuhanhaji Kindergarten, South Aceh, is still underdeveloped, because the majority of children are not yet able to behave politely and adapt themselves during the teaching and learning process. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of singing Islamic songs on moral values ??in early childhood at the Dharma Wanita Kindergarten in West Labuhanhaji, South Aceh. This type of research is experimental with a One Group pretest posttest approach. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets, to see the effect of singing Islamic songs or not. The data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test and hypothesis test. The research results from data analysis show that the influence of the Islamic song method is to develop children's moral values. In this research it can be concluded that the effect of singing Islamic songs on developing moral values ??in children is obtained by a calculated t value of 10.528 > t table 12.050. It can be seen in the hypothesis test that a sig value of 0.000 < 0.05 is obtained, meaning that Ha is accepted, Ho is rejected.

Purpose of the study: The primary objective of this research is to investigate the influence of the traditional game, Congklak, on the development of fine motor skills in early childhood at Kasih Bunda Kindergarten.
 Methodology: This study employed an experimental research design with a pre-experimental approach. The participants consisted of students from the B2 group at Kasih Bunda Kindergarten, South Aceh, totaling 27 students in the experimental class. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive quantitative methods, comparing the averages of pre-test and post-test data collected through observations. Hypothesis testing was performed using the t-test based on the results of the activity scale.
 Main Findings: The main finding of this research is the comparison of average values before and after the treatment. With tcount > ttable, specifically 27.30 > 2.056, the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, indicating a significant difference between the scores obtained from the initial and final tests at a 95% confidence level. Consequently, it can be concluded that the Congklak game significantly contributes to the development of fine motor skills in young children at Kasih Bunda Kindergarten.
 Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research lies in the discovery of the potential of traditional games, such as Congklak, not merely as recreational activities but as effective tools for enhancing young children's fine motor skills, particularly in understanding number concepts and counting activities, thereby making classroom learning more engaging and enjoyable.
