Abstract

An investigation of phase equilibria in the TlSe–TlBr–TlI quasi-ternary system was investigated by DTA and X-ray diffraction in combination with mathematical modeling. The projection of liquidus surface, the vertical section and the isothermal section at 473 K, and the perspective representation of the phase diagram were constructed. New complex compounds did not form. The system is of the monovariant eutectic type. The three-dimensional one-, two- and three-phase regions present in the TlSe–TlBr–TlI ternary system are described.
