Abstract

The c-met oncogene encoding the RTK for hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) controls cell growth, invasion and protects from apoptosis. Abnormal expression and activity of c-met have a close relationship with digestive system neoplasms genesis ,development and malignant biological activity. Recent studies on diges-tive system neoplasms therapy focus on c-met signaling pathway. This review will present current advances and perspectives on the therapy basing on c-met signal pathway for digestive system neoplasms. Key words: Proto-oncogene proteins; Digestive system neoplasms; Targeted therapy
