Abstract

In order to improve the calculation speed and precision of the linear guide precision straightening stroke algorithm, a novel way to predict straightening stroke is proposed based on springback control theory. The relationships between straightening springback control and straightening stroke have been constructed by having analyzed on the curvature changes of the straightening process. The straightening stroke prediction quick algorithm has been designed and applied in straightening experimental. After comparison on the stroke-deflection model and experimental, it is proved that the springback control model can improve the speed and real-time of straightening stroke prediction and calculation and have good adaptive capacity in a large bending condition.
