Abstract

1. 1. The specific activity of lactic dehydrogenase (LDH) and α-glycerophosphate dehydrogenase (α-GDH) in crude extracts of abdominal muscle and hepatopancreas of the crayfish Cambarus bartoni acclimated to simulated winter and spring conditions was determined. 2. 2. There was an increase in the specific activity of LDH and α-GDH in the abdominal muscle following cold acclimation. 3. 3. In the hepatopancreas there was a decrease in the specific activity of the two enzymes.
