Abstract

The compensation potentials of Volta circuits were measured by the Kenrick method at 298.15 K to determine the real and chemical thermodynamic characteristics of resolvation of the potassium, sodium, and bromine ions in water-methanol mixtures and the surface potential at the gas phase/methanol interface ΔχMeOH. The special features of the solvation of the ions in mixed water-methanol solvents were studied.
