Abstract
A solution is given to the problem of whether the double dispersion relations for the scattering amplitude are compatible with the dispersion realtions for form factors on the basis of the bootstrap dynamics. This problem is illustrated by the well-investigated πN scattering. The self-consistent method is used to calculate the πNN vertex function, especially to determine the thresholds of its spectral representation. The determined thresholds are in total agreement with the unitarity condition.
