Abstract

Objectives To investigate the expression and role of prostate specific antigen(PSA),prostate specific membrane antigen(PSMA) and alpha-methyl-CoA racemase (P504S) of prostatosis. Methods 157 samples of prostate were got from department of pathology of HuiZhou Municipal Central Hospital between July,2011 and July,2013,including 38 adenocarcinomatous of prostate(PCa),45 prostatic intraepithelial neoplasm(PIN),11 atypical adenoma hyperplasia (AAH) and 63 benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).Expression of PSA,PSMA and P504S were detected by immunohistochemical metheod. Results PSA expressed in all the prostate tissues. The positive expression rates of PSMA were 65.8%,42.2%,18.2% and 9.5% respectively in PCa,PIN,AAH and BPH.Accordingly, the expression rates of P504S were 94.7%,13.3%,9.1% and 0%.Conclusions p504S has a higher specificity of expression in adenocarcinoma of prostate than PSMA,and may be an ideal tumor marker to raise the diagnosis rate of PC.
