Abstract

AKAP13 plays an active role in gonadotropin-dependent gene transcription. We previously showed that AKAP13 augments cyclic AMP response element binding protein (CREB) activation in granulosa cells (GCs) and is required for optimal follicle stimulating hormone signaling. Since the exact mechanisms by which AKAP13 mediates gonadotropin signaling through CREB remains unclear, we sought to further explore regions of AKAP13 required for CREB activation.
