Abstract
The flame tube is the main functional component of the aero engine. The special function and complicated structure require high precision of the welding process. However, the deformation of the flame tube welding seriously affects the process reliability, resulting in its performance degradation. Welding deformation problems of flame tube of an aero-engine are studied based on the ESI Welding software. The method of Mapping is used to simulate welding and assembly process of the flame tube in a step-by-step manner to obtain more accurate deformation and stress distribution under different welding conditions. OPT was used to optimize the welding sequence of the evaporation tube and optimize the tooling. Finally, the best welding process was obtained, and the deformation was effectively controlled. To some extent, the problem of carbon deposition caused by uneven combustion was improved and service reliability was guaranteed.
